INCA National Map Quiz

Objective & Eligibility

• Objective: To create awareness about maps among student community.
• Eligibility: The Quiz is open to the students of class 8^th, 9^th and 10^th. Each team will consist of maximum three students either from the same class or from different classes of the same school.
• Centre: Any school with 15 or more teams will be treated as a Centre for conducting the Quiz. Schools with less than 15 teams will attach their teams with other schools on their mutual understanding.

Entry Fee & Teams

• Entry Fee: Rs. 300/- per team.
  • 25% — Transferred to INCA HQ Account
  • 15% — Utilized for conducting Map Quiz by the centre school
  • 60% — Given back to the concerned Local Branch
• No. of teams: There is no restriction in the number of teams from a school. The school with largest participation may be given a special award by the concerned Branches.

Coordinator & Phases

• Coordinator: Each school may be requested to nominate a Coordinator. The State Level Convener will be decided by Chairman/Secretary of the Local Branch.
• Phase-I (Branch Level): The Phase-1 INCA Map Quiz-2026 will be completely the responsibility of state branches including setting of question papers, conducting the test, evaluation and declaration of result. The Top 6 teams (18 participants) from each branch/chapter will appear for the finals.
• Phase-II (National Level): The Final INCA National Map Quiz-2026 test will be conducted on 12th September 2026 from 11.00 hrs and the duration of the test will be 120 minutes.
• Question Papers: The Question papers for the finals will be supplied in sealed Envelope by INCA Headquarters. The envelope will be opened only 10 minutes before the commencement of the test in the presence of the Observer and invigilators.
• Evaluation: The Answer Sheets will be evaluated by the Committee at the INCA Headquarters, and the details of teams securing the first three positions shall be intimated to the respective branches/chapters.

Prizes & TA

• Prize Distribution: The first three winning teams will be invited to the venue of 46^th INCA International Congress. The prizes will be awarded to them during the Inaugural Function of the Congress on 19th November 2026 at Gauhati University, Guwahati, Assam.
• TA to the teams: TA to the prize-winning teams with one accompanying teacher per team will be paid by the INCA HQ. Amount restricted to 2AC Train fare from the location of the concerned Branches to Guwahati and back. Accommodation will be arranged by the Organizers of the Congress.
